Full terms
Same terms as on the pricing page, in more detail. Paying the deposit means agreeing to these terms.
Payment
- Payment is accepted in any convenient currency: the deposit and the balance are converted at the Google exchange rate on the day of each payment.
- Methods: cards in Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Vietnam. Other methods – on request.
- Bank and payment service fees are paid by the client.
- The first 50% is paid after the project has been discussed and the price and timeline agreed. After the deposit, the project gets a slot in the schedule.
- The remaining 50% – after the first version of the film is delivered, before revisions start.
- Until full payment, a compressed working version of the film is provided. The final full-quality file and the XML project are delivered after full payment and acceptance of the film.
Cancellation after the deposit
- If work on the project has not started yet, the deposit is refunded in full.
- Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. Work is considered started once the client has been notified that the project is in progress.
Timeline
- Projects are taken in order of booking. At booking, the start date and the first version delivery date are set.
- Editing time depends on the amount of footage. For example, a film up to 5 minutes from one camera takes about 7 days.
- Revisions are made within 3 business days. For a long list, the timeline is agreed separately.
- Rush editing: if there is a free slot in the schedule, the project is taken ahead of the queue. The timeline is agreed individually.
Revisions
- Two rounds of revisions are included in the price.
- All revisions for each round are sent as one detailed list with timecodes. Anything sent later moves to the next round.
- Feedback like “something is off, not sure what – redo it” doesn’t count as revisions. Each change must be specified clearly: what and where.
- Revisions do not cover changes to the story, film structure or music (see Music below).
- The first round of revisions has 7 days after the film is delivered, the second has 5 days. If no feedback comes within that time, the film is considered accepted.
- Technical editing mistakes (for example, an image defect or audio out of sync with video) are fixed for free – this doesn’t count as a revision round.
- The third and each following round – $55.
Music
- Music is chosen for each couple individually. If desired, it can be approved before editing starts.
- Changing the track after approval (or if it was not approved in advance) costs 80% of the film price. The story, rhythm and cuts are built around a specific song, so new music means a new edit. If the film has several tracks, the cost of replacing one is discussed separately.
- By default, films use music without a commercial license. Such a film is fine for personal viewing. If published on YouTube, Instagram or other platforms, the video may be restricted, muted or blocked following a copyright holder’s claim.
- For publishing, licensed music is recommended (for example, from Artlist) – the license is paid by the client.
- If an unlicensed track is chosen, the client is responsible for publishing it and for any restrictions.
Storage
- Footage is sent via a cloud storage link (Google Drive, Yandex Disk, etc.).
- Footage and project files are kept for 30 days after the film is accepted, then deleted.
- The film is considered accepted when the client confirms there are no more revisions, or when the revision period has ended (7 days after the first version or 5 days after the second) with no feedback. The 30 days start from that day.
- After deletion, the project can only be reopened if all materials are sent again: video, audio and other files.
- Small changes after acceptance (replacing a few shots, fixing titles or volume) – $55.
- Major changes (re-editing part of the film, making a version of a different length) – by agreement.
Portfolio
- Finished films may be shown in the portfolio – never before the film has been delivered to the couple.
- If the client or the couple prefer it to stay private, just say so – the film won’t be published anywhere. No extra charge.
Footage from 3 or more cameras
- The price is quoted individually. It depends on the total length of footage from all cameras: the more hours of video, the more time goes into reviewing and selecting.
